What is a unit?
Botulinum toxin is dosed in units, standardised against an LD50 reference. Brand units are not directly equivalent: 1 Botox U ≈ 2.5–3 Dysport U; Xeomin U ≈ Botox U.

Male dosing
Higher muscle bulk and skin thickness mean dose is typically 25–50% higher in male patients for glabella, masseter, and frontal zones — important to preserve a natural look.
