Tear-Trough

Filling the under-eye groove — an anatomically challenging zone.

The tear-trough zone has thin skin, superficial vessels, and a tendency to swell, making filler choice and layering critical. Mis-layering can produce the Tyndall effect (bluish hue). Patient selection is narrow; midface support is recommended when tear-trough is unsuitable.
